What’s it really like staying at Hilton Anaheim near Disneyland?

Avatar photo

I just found my next go-to Anaheim stay. The Hilton Anaheim is a 15- to 20-minute walk — or a five-minute rideshare — to Disneyland. But that’s not the only reason why it’s the best place to stay during your Disney adventures.

Need to know before booking Hilton Anaheim

  • Located near Disneyland Resort and the Anaheim Convention Center
  • More than 1,570 guest rooms
  • Disneyland views available from select rooms
  • Self-parking fees apply
  • Anaheim Resort Campus Shuttle transportation is available (for a nominal fee)
  • Multiple dining options are located inside the hotel
  • Features pools, hot tubs and a splash pad

Why Hilton Anaheim works well for Disneyland vacations

I’ve stayed at multiple hotels near Disneyland. While each has its own offerings and attributes, the Hilton Anaheim is a perfect hotel for travelers who want everything they need under one roof, including an in-house Starbucks.

Even though Hilton Anaheim is one of the largest hotels in Southern California — with more than 1,570 rooms — it’s easy to navigate. The lobby serves as the center of the property, with dining and shopping around its perimeter.

Amenities available at Hilton Anaheim

Given the scale of the property, the hotel is (unsurprisingly) packed with amenities.

Starbucks

As mentioned earlier, the on-site Starbucks is a godsend for those who want — or in my case, need — a caffeine boost before heading to the parks (and you can charge the purchases to your room).

Dining options

For easy grab-and-go bites, the Corner Eatery grab-and-go food hall area offers pizza, Mexican, health-conscious options, and burger options, plus individual dining spots.

The hotel’s main sit-down restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ordered an acai bowl and a grain bowl with quinoa, lentils and poached eggs to start our day. Both were delicious!

Outdoor pool, splash pad and recreation areas

The fifth-floor pool area has a resort-style swimming pool, hot tubs and cabanas. Plus, littles will love the splash pad to play in between park adventures.

Disney shopping and Character Club

There are a couple of areas where travelers can stock up on necessities like sunscreen, sunglasses, canvas bags, and, most importantly to Disney fans, merch! In fact, there is a “Character Club” that exclusively sells Disney toys.

Rooms at Hilton Anaheim

The guest rooms are spacious, many of which have views of both Disneyland and California Adventure. Our room had a front-row view of Space Mountain and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Is Hilton Anaheim worth it for Disneyland travelers?

Between the park views, dining options and surprisingly easy layout, Hilton Anaheim has officially earned a permanent spot in my Disneyland hotel rotation.
