Celebrate Halloween at The Culver Hotel with spooky fun

Old Hollywood glamour gets a spooky twist this October at The Culver Hotel. The historic 1924 hotel in downtown Culver City is celebrating Halloween with a Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch, family trick-or-treating, classic scary movies and a one-day Spooky Tea experience.

Set in a vibrant, walkable Los Angeles neighborhood, the hotel pairs vintage-inspired guest rooms and artful design with dining, live music and seasonal experiences. This month, golden skeletons will scale the building’s façade, while cobwebs, giant spiders and ghostly figures transform its garden patio, lobby and dining spaces.

Halloween experiences at The Culver Hotel

Pumpkin patches, family trick-or-treating, Spooky Tea and classic scary movies await visitors at The Culver Hotel this autumn.

A Pumpkin Patch Partnership

This October, The Culver Hotel and Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch are teaming up for a festive collaboration celebrating two local favorites. A playful pumpkin display, designed by Mr. Bones’ pumpkin design team, will take over the hotel entrance beginning October 9. A scavenger hunt kicks off at the pumpkin patch (weekends only), offering patrons the chance to unlock special treats at the hotel, including a $10 cocktail voucher or a complimentary kids’ meal with the purchase of an adult entrée.

A Haunted Culver City Tradition

The festivities continue on Sunday, October 25, when The Culver Hotel joins Downtown Culver City’s annual Hip & Historic Halloween celebration for its annual Haunted Trick-or-Treat. The event takes place from 4 to 6 p.m. in the hotel’s Crystal Dining Room. Costumed staff will welcome little ghosts and goblins with candy and Halloween surprises. Adults can get into the spirit with seasonal cocktails while exploring the hotel’s spooky décor.

Spooky Tea for Halloween Day

On Saturday, October 31, for one day only, the hotel’s signature Afternoon Tea gets a hauntingly delicious makeover with Spooky Tea, served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Grand Lobby and on the garden patio. The experience features festive finger sandwiches, treats, assorted sweet bites and mini cauldrons filled with candies and other surprises. Haunting tunes, including Monster Mash, Thriller and other Halloween favorites, set the mood for the afternoon. Reservations can be made here.

A Month of Movie Frights

Throughout October, classic scary movies will screen in the Grand Lobby, transforming the hotel into a cinematic haunt with favorites including Dracula, “The Birds,” “Creature from the Black Lagoon” and “Frankenstein.” Guests can settle in for a little old-school fright while enjoying cocktails, dining and live music throughout the month.
