North Italia Chandler opens Nov. 11 with fresh pasta and a new seasonal menu

North Italia will officially open in Chandler on Wednesday, Nov. 11, bringing its signature Italian fare, happy hour and vibrant hospitality a little closer to home for East Valley residents.

The Arizona-born concept has grown into a dining destination nationwide, but its newest location celebrates where it all began. Situated at 7221 W. Ray Road within The Shoppes at Casa Paloma, North Italia Chandler will offer everything from weekday lunches and leisurely weekend brunches to happy hour gatherings and celebratory dinners.

The 8,397-square-foot restaurant seats 203 guests inside, with a fully covered patio accommodating an additional 44 guests.

Designed to feel familiar while reflecting the Chandler community, the space features a cozy outdoor fireplace on the patio and a custom dining room mural created by local artist and former North Italia server Price Goodman.

The restaurant will also include North Italia’s signature open kitchen, where guests can watch chefs toss pizzas and roll fresh pasta from scratch daily.

Leading the Chandler team are Chris Curtiss, North Italia’s senior director of culinary operations and research and development, and two longtime Arizonans: Executive Chef Adrian Gamez, formerly of the Peoria location, and General Manager Matthew Shaloo, formerly of North Italia Tempe.

Italian favorites meet a new seasonal menu

Guests can enjoy North Italia classics such as White Truffle Garlic Bread and Hot Honey & Smoke Prosciutto Pizza alongside new dishes and seasonal standouts from the fall and winter menu, launching nationwide Oct. 14.

Fall and winter menu highlights

  • Seasonal Vegetable Salad: Roasted Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, grilled broccolini, golden raisins, crushed hazelnuts and white balsamic vinaigrette.
  • Burrata di Stagione: A seasonal version of the popular starter featuring Fuji apple, roasted butternut squash, hazelnuts, herb breadcrumbs and Calabrian agrodolce.
  • Fusilli al Telefono: Inspired by Rome’s supplì al telefono, this new pasta dish features DiNapoli tomato, mozzarella and roasted garlic breadcrumbs.
  • Tripoline Alfredo: North’s modern take on a classic uses tripoline instead of fettuccine, complemented by Grana Padano and white vodka crema.
  • Crispy Chicken Piccata: Strozzapreti, lemon, capers, arugula, roasted chicken jus and marinated artichoke hearts — a first for North Italia.
  • Double Pepperoni: A new pizza made with mozzarella, ricotta and Grana Padano. A flatbread version is available exclusively during happy hour.
  • Fontina & Ricotta Omelet: A brunch offering served with chives, toasted ciabatta and hash potatoes.
