A celebration of Western traditions

The anniversary festivities continue throughout the year with special experiences and limited-edition offerings.

Guests can attend the Chapter & Hearth Dinner on Nov. 8, featuring a haywagon ride to the historic Adobe, storytelling from local historians, cowboy poetry, live music and an outdoor Western cookout beneath the stars.

Beer lovers can also raise a glass with the new 1946 Alisal Beer, created in partnership with Goleta’s M.Special Brewing Co. The limited-edition American craft lager was brewed specifically to commemorate the ranch’s 80th anniversary.

Additional anniversary releases include handcrafted artisan ceramic mugs created by Central Coast artists and a new commemorative coffee-table history book chronicling the ranch’s evolution from its 1843 roots through eight decades of Jackson family stewardship.

Filled with archival photography and stories from throughout the property’s history, the book offers a rare look at one of California’s most enduring luxury ranch destinations.

“Alisal Ranch has always been a place where generations come together to disconnect from the modern world and connect with the spirit of the American West,” says David Merklinger, general manager.

A California tradition eight decades strong

Today, Alisal Ranch remains known for horseback riding through rolling hills, fly-fishing on its private lake, championship golf, Western cuisine and luxury accommodations that blend rustic charm with upscale comfort.

The 80th anniversary celebration offers guests an opportunity to experience that legacy while enjoying exclusive experiences available only during this milestone year.

The anniversary merchandise, commemorative book and limited-edition beer are available now both at the ranch and online. For more information, visit alisalranch.com.
