Rancho de los Caballeros introduces new casitas, terrace and pool complex

Honoring Western heritage while introducing modern comforts
The newly unveiled additions include new accommodations and refreshed gathering spaces designed to elevate the guest experience while preserving the authentic Western charm that has made the ranch a beloved Southwest destination for generations.
“We looked closely at how our guests use the ranch and where we could make it even better,” says George McGann, managing director of Rancho de los Caballeros. “From more spacious accommodations to new places to gather and unwind, these additions allow us to better serve returning families while welcoming first-time visitors. It’s an investment in the future of the ranch, one that strengthens what we offer without changing what makes this place special.”
The new Wickenburg Suites bring flexible, family-friendly accommodations
Debuting in February, the Wickenburg Suites are located on the southwest corner of the property and feature four standalone casitas designed for flexibility and comfort.

At the heart of each casita is a two-bedroom suite with one king bedroom and one two-queen bedroom centered around an open-concept living room complete with a floor-to-ceiling hand-plastered fireplace and kitchenette.
Flanking the main suite are two lock-off accommodations: a separate king room and a standalone two-queen room. These components can be reserved individually or combined to create a spacious four-bedroom casita, making the suites ideal for families, golf groups, wedding parties and corporate retreats.
Each private bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet and floor-to-ceiling windows. Multiple patios with firepits extend the living space outdoors and offer views of the Los Caballeros Golf Club and the ranch’s twice-daily horse run, where the property’s 125 horses move to pasture.
For the new suites, architecture was by Conk Architecture, interior design by Hasbrook Interiors, construction by RJ Gurley Construction, all under the guidance of resort master planner, TAG Studio.

Quarter Horse Terrace creates a new gathering hub
As part of the final renovation phase, the newly reimagined Quarter Horse Terrace now anchors the ranch’s central campus.
The outdoor patio connects the Main Lodge, Los Cab Saloon and The Main Dining Room, creating a welcoming hub for guests to gather throughout the day. Centered around a striking Quarter Horse sculpture, the space invites guests to enjoy cocktails, listen to live music or roast s’mores beside the firepit beneath Arizona’s wide desert sky.
A resort-style pool complex expands outdoor relaxation
The resort’s outdoor pool complex, introduced in June 2025, further enhances the ranch experience with a dynamic new leisure space.
The complex features two resort-style pools, including a zero-entry pool with fountains and underwater music as well as a dedicated lap pool. An infinity-edge hydrotherapy pool with therapeutic jets offers a relaxing wellness element.
Framed by preserved native desert landscaping, the pool area also includes private cabanas available by reservation, lounge seating, firepits and a flexible 3,000-square-foot open-air lawn for private events.
Guests can also enjoy Poolside Sips & Snacks, the on-site bar and grill serving casual fare and refreshing beverages.

A legacy ranch experience rooted in Western tradition
Over the past five years, Rancho de los Caballeros has invested significantly across the property with refreshed guest rooms and suites, enhanced meetings and event spaces, a fine dining restaurant and upgrades to its full-service spa.
At its core, the ranch experience continues to center on the surrounding 18,000 acres of rideable Sonoran Desert terrain.
Signature equestrian experiences include guided trail rides, team penning, roping instruction and barrel racing. Additional activities range from archery and trap and skeet shooting to tennis, pickleball and a robust dining program that complements the ranch’s relaxed Western atmosphere.
The property’s ongoing investment and dedication to authentic ranch hospitality has also earned it the honor of hosting the Dude Ranchers’ Association Annual Convention in January 2027.
