Noble 33 to open Japanese steakhouse in Beverly Hills

Luxury dining in Beverly Hills is about to get a dramatic new addition. International hospitality group Noble 33 has announced plans to debut a Japanese steakhouse and sister izakaya concept in 2027, bringing a high-energy, design-forward culinary experience to the ground floor of Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills.

Set within a nearly 12,000-square-foot space at 9900 S. Santa Monica Blvd., just steps from the Golden Triangle, the dual-concept restaurant will blend immersive design, elevated cuisine and live music, continuing Noble 33’s signature approach to experiential dining.

A dual concept rooted in precision and energy

The new restaurant will mark Noble 33’s first foray into Japanese-inspired cuisine, joining its globally recognized portfolio including Toca Madera, Medüza Mediterranea, Sparrow Italia and 1587 Prime.

At its core, the Japanese steakhouse will spotlight the often-overlooked artistry of Japanese steak preparation, offering a refined counterpoint to the cuisine’s more widely known sushi traditions. Alongside it, the izakaya concept will channel the electric, intimate atmosphere of Tokyo’s back-alley dining scene, with a focus on small plates and ramen.

“The goal for Noble 33 has always been to expand across different cuisines, exploring how we can thoughtfully incorporate global dining experiences which have long inspired us as a point of departure for our menu,” says Mikey Tanha, co-founder and CEO. “For Rosewood Residences, we’re introducing Los Angeles to our take on Japanese dining, anchored by the precision and immersive experience of a classic Noble 33 steakhouse.”

Designed to transport, not just impress

Led by Co-Founder Tosh Berman and Noble 33’s in-house design team, the interiors will reimagine traditional Japanese design through a bold, contemporary lens.

Expect warm, layered wood paneling, coffered ceilings and soft golden lighting that create an intimate, enveloping atmosphere. A central bar and open sushi counter will anchor the space, while more private dining areas evoke a ceremonial feel with shoji screens, samurai armor and curated weapon displays.

Rather than minimalism, the design leans into richness and texture, with bespoke millwork and large-scale artwork adding depth, movement and storytelling throughout.

“We’ve had our Japanese concept in the works for several years and were waiting for the right location to bring it to life,” Berman says. “With 12,000 square feet, the space allows us to fully execute the design vision and create something unlike any other Japanese restaurant in the city.”

An ultra-luxury setting in one of LA’s most coveted addresses

The restaurant will be housed within Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills, a boutique collection of ultra-luxury homes developed by Nahla Capital and GPI Companies.

“At Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills, we set out to create an environment defined by discretion, exceptional quality and a true sense of place in one of the world’s most coveted locations,” says Genghis Hadi, co-founder and managing principal of Nahla Capital. “Noble 33 brings a global standard of excellence and a distinctive culinary vision that will be thoughtfully attuned to both our residents and the surrounding community.”
