Delysia truffle collections: For Easter, Mother’s Day and every day

At BOSW, our hearts sing when we get to spotlight Southwest entrepreneurs and businesses — especially when chocolate is involved. With Easter around the corner and Mother’s Day following quickly, it’s an opportune time to share about Delysia Chocolatier — the brainchild of Austin-based Founder and chocolatier Nicole Patel.

Still need an Easter gift? Delysia has your back!
As if Patel — who handcrafts 1,500–2,500 preservative-free truffles weekly in the traditional Parisian style — doesn’t already have enough on her plate, she’s also curated the whimsical “Chocolate Patch” Truffle Collection. This selection of Peter Rabbit-inspired chocolate truffles includes a variety of chocolate wonders with diverse tastes.
Chocolate Patch packed with delicious flavors
The “Thyme for Trouble” chocolate truffle, for example, is a playful blend of honey-thyme, citrusy mischief, fragrant Earl Grey tea, bright Meyer lemon zest and a touch of golden honey. The “Brambleberry Tangle” truffle features a wild berry medley: silky white chocolate studded with fresh strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries — intertwined with aromatic wildflowers.
“Every bite offers a new flavor journey crafted to spark joy and create a meaningful moment,” Patel says of the Chocolate Patch Truffle Collection.
Adds Patel, “Delysia was born from that very spirit of gift-giving, when I began experimenting with truffles as a pregnant mom looking for something personal and thoughtful for friends and family.”

Another eggcellent Easter gift option
Who doesn’t appreciate a decadent chocolate egg? Knowing this, Patel created Chocolate Painted Eggs. These chocolate goodies are perfect for a fun family activity or a relaxing, creative treat for grownups. Each egg can be decorated with included chocolate ink pens, making for a stress-free and delicious experience. Handcrafted from premium chocolate, each egg is infused with springtime flavors like:
- Strawberry creme (pink)
- Sprinkles + brown butter cake mix (blue)
- Creamsicle (orange)
- Candied green apple (green)
- Lemon meringue (yellow)
- Concord grape (purple)
Making Mother’s Day an even sweeter occasion
For a short time, Delysia Chocolatier has rolled out a limited edition 16-piece collection to celebrate the mother figure who deserves nothing but the finest. Each truffle is handmade and part of the indulgent Mom’s Luxe Retreat Chocolate Truffles Collection.
This limited celebratory collection includes truffle standouts such as the “Cherry Blossom Chocolate,” a luxuriously smooth white chocolate infused with the delicate essence of cherry blossoms, perfectly balanced with tart dried Bing cherries. Or try the “Strawberry Pistachio Crème,” featuring delicate pistachio crème and sweet, fresh strawberries enrobed in rich dark chocolate.

Chocolate goodness ALL through the year
Many a chocolate lover agrees: No holiday is needed to enjoy a magnificent truffle! Knowing this, Patel has assembled several evergreen collections, available all through the year. Among some of Delysia’s favorites:
- “Taste of the South Collection”: A chocolate experience that captures the essence of a full Southern meal, featuring flavors like Mint Julep, Chicken Fried Steak, Green Chili Queso and Banana Pudding.
- “The Wine Pairing Collection”: A selection of truffles designed to complement different wines, with flavors like Lemon Apricot, Chipotle Orange, Candied Butterscotch, Raspberry Rose and Merlot Cherry.
- “History of Chocolate Collection”: A taster’s chocolate journey over the confection’s 5000-year history, beginning with its origins in the northwest corner of South America, to European influence that transformed it from beverage to bar, to the newest innovations in chocolate today.
Celebrating hometown hotspots
Patel also pays homage to her hometown with the Taste of Austin Collection. This nine-piece chocolate truffle collection is inspired by iconic local spots like Curra’s Grill, Lucy’s Fried Chicken and Kerbey Lane Cafe. Each handcrafted truffle captures the bold flavors and creative spirit of the place she calls home.
“My roots are in Austin, and I’m proud to call this vibrant city home,” she says. “It’s where I’ve raised my family, launched Delysia Chocolatier, and found an incredible community that continues to inspire me every day.”
