For guests looking to kick-start their 2026 Disney vacation planning for the upcoming new year, Disneyland Resort released its 2026 calendar of events and festivals, which includes the continuation of the historic 70th Celebration and the exciting debut of an all-new family-friendly offering at the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland Park featuring the beloved character Bluey.

Disneyland reveals 2026 lineup of new shows and returning favorites
Disneyland Resort continues to celebrate seven decades of happiness with exciting new offerings, cherished seasonal celebrations and distinctly Disney opportunities for guests to create new memories with their friends and family at The Happiest Place on Earth.
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration continues
In 2026, Disneyland Resort continues its historic 70th Celebration and guests can experience the celebratory slate of entertainment offerings back in full swing beginning in January. Along with “World of Color Happiness!” and “Tapestry of Happiness,” which have continued throughout the holiday season, guests can enjoy the return of “The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade,” “Wondrous Journeys” and the “Paint the Night” parade. The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will reach its conclusion on Aug. 9, 2026.

New Bluey immersive experience debuts March 22
Beginning March 22, 2026, and continuing through the year, “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” will invite Disneyland Park guests to an immersive celebration of the heart and humor of the critically acclaimed Disney+ animated series, “Bluey,” inside the Fantasyland Theatre.
Fantasyland Theatre will transform into the grounds of Bluey’s school, where guests can join the fun of Bluey’s best day ever. Throughout the day, Bluey and her sister Bingo will appear live on stage, joining a troupe of comedic actors and musicians. Together, they will bring to life the popular music and games emblematic of beloved “Bluey” episodes, inspiring families and guests of all ages to participate.
Guests can enjoy musical moments, iconic games like Keepy Uppy, a life-sized Gnome Village and Fairy Garden, and themed treats from Troubadour Tavern inspired by the animated series.

2026 festivals and events at Disneyland Resort
Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park (Jan. 23–Feb. 22)
To ring in the Year of the Horse, Horace Horsecollar will make appearances during this joyous festival honoring Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean traditions. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse return with Korean-inspired outfits, and several characters debut new attire celebrating Vietnamese and Chinese cultures.
Celebrate Gospel (Feb. 20–21 and Feb. 27–28)
This uplifting annual concert moves to Downtown Disney District for two weekends of performances by Southern California community choirs and headliners Hezekiah Walker (Feb. 21) and Yolanda Adams (Feb. 28).
Anaheim Ducks Day (Feb. 22)
A fan favorite returns with appearances by Ducks players and Wild Wing, themed entertainment and photo ops.

Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival (March 6–April 27)
Limited-time culinary offerings, beverage seminars, demos and family-friendly entertainment celebrate California’s flavors and agricultural heritage.
Disney On the Yard – Yardfest (June 19)
This celebration of the spirit and traditions of HBCUs returns to Downtown Disney District with drum majors, Drum Major Mickey Mouse and a drumline.
D23 Day at Disneyland Resort (Aug. 13)
Magical surprises, themed moments and fan-favorite experiences kick off the countdown to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party (Aug. 13–16)
A special one-day event at Disney California Adventure Park expands into three days at Downtown Disney District, offering live entertainment, beloved characters and family fun.
Halloween Time (Aug. 21–Oct. 31)
Seasonal attractions, pumpkin décor and family-friendly frights fill the resort.

Plaza de la Familia (Aug. 21–Nov. 2)
The celebration of family bonds inspired by Pixar’s “Coco” returns to Disney California Adventure Park.
Holidays at Disneyland Resort (Nov. 18)
