Arizona Derby party returns to Turf Paradise with DayClub event
Arizona’s largest and most authentic Kentucky Derby party in Arizona returns this spring as the Stella Artois Derby DayClub takes over Turf Paradise on Saturday, May 2.
It’s the only Derby celebration in the state where guests can experience the excitement of the “Run for the Roses” just yards from live horse racing, blending high-energy entertainment with the timeless style of Derby Day.

A Derby Day experience at the track
With Turf Paradise now under new management and enhanced with notable upgrades, this year’s event coincides with the 152nd Kentucky Derby and promises an elevated experience. Guests can watch and wager on the Kentucky Derby simulcast while enjoying a full card of live local horse racing throughout the day.
Set against the backdrop of one of Arizona’s most iconic racetracks, the event brings together the signature energy of the Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships with an anticipated crowd of more than 1,600 attendees.

New additions and elevated experiences
New for 2026, guests can look forward to a separate ticketed Champagne and Bourbon tasting experience, with additional details to be announced soon.
“I’ve been to Derby parties in other cities, and nothing compares,” says Ivan Lugo, returning attendee. “You’re dressed up with a mint julep in hand, and then the horses come thundering past you just a few yards away. It feels like you’re part of the race, rather than just watching it on TV.”
Trackside lounges and seating options
Two main hospitality experiences anchor the event: the Sanderson Lincoln Black Label Lounge and the Stella Artois Jazz Pavilion, both offering reserved tables, seating and general admission options.

The Sanderson Lincoln Black Label Lounge features a Scottsdale Polo Party-style tent stretching approximately 85 yards along the track. Guests can enjoy live DJs, bands, on-site betting machines and teller stations, along with multiple screens broadcasting both the Kentucky Derby and local races.
Bars inside the lounge serve mint juleps, champagne and cocktails, with nearby food trucks offering additional dining options. Reserved tables include a complimentary bottle of Chandon champagne, with pricing ranging from $450 to $1,250. Individual reserved seating ranges from $115 to $150 depending on row.
A refreshed pavilion experience
The Stella Artois Jazz Pavilion offers an open-air, covered setting with prime views of the track and easy access to betting. Recently rebuilt, the pavilion now features a refurbished layout, new TV screens and a live jazz band debuting at this year’s event.

Guests can enjoy mint juleps, champagne and cocktails, along with food truck offerings nearby. Table packages include a complimentary bucket of Stella Artois, with pricing ranging from $325 to $450.
“This is one of those rare events where everyone really commits to the theme,” says Patrick Heigl, GM of Sanderson Lincoln. “The suits, the hats, it’s a whole experience, and our group ended up staying a lot longer than we planned because there was so much to do beyond the race itself.”
Tickets and event details
General admission tickets are available starting at $50 in advance and $55 at the gate. Guests can also reserve tables or upgraded seating for a more immersive experience.

In addition to horse racing, attendees can explore an on-site showcase of Sanderson Lincoln’s latest luxury vehicles and enjoy shopping activations throughout the venue.
The Stella Artois Derby DayClub is produced by the Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships, the most-attended polo event in the U.S.
