Poppy’s puts a seasonal spin on Anaheim dining
Anaheim’s Poppy’s brings a fresh California dining moment to Hilton Anaheim
Just a short walk from Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center, Poppy’s is quickly becoming a dining destination in its own right. The newly opened restaurant anchors the food and beverage transformation at Hilton Anaheim, following the property’s multimillion-dollar renovation, and is drawing both out-of-town guests and locals looking for a refined yet approachable California dining experience.

Locally-sourced ingredients and feel-good family food
Led by Executive Chef Prabeen Prathapan, Poppy’s is rooted in the availability of Southern California’s ingredients, highlighting abundant seafood, fresh produce and fragrant herbs. The menu reflects an homage to the best of California, from a classic 1950s hamburger stand-style burger to a modern roasted vegetable grain bowl, all curated with seasonal ingredients sourced from regional partners, including local farms in Moorpark.
“I can’t wait to create a memorable journey of dishes that guests enjoy so much that they remember and bring their friends, family and business partners to dine again,” says Chef Prathapan.

Officially introduced in 2025, Poppy’s serves as the centerpiece of Hilton Anaheim’s reimagined food and beverage program. Developed by Hilton’s in-house brand incubator, StiR Creative Collective, the all-day dining concept offers a welcoming gathering place for travelers and locals alike while reinforcing the hotel’s California roots.
With an emphasis on sustainability, wellness and seasonality, Poppy’s features rotating menu offerings designed to reflect freshness and innovation. The restaurant joins a broader lineup of dining venues across the hotel, including Hansen’s Market, Poppy’s Lounge, Saltflower Social Kitchen and expanded catering and banquet services.
From breakfast to dinner, a menu shaped by California flavors
Poppy’s offers distinct breakfast and dinner menus, with an all-day menu carrying through lunch service.
Morning highlights include Avocado Toast on poppy seed multigrain bread with chili crunch, radish, fresh lemon and a side salad, as well as a nourishing Warm Breakfast Grain Bowl with quinoa, beluga lentils, soft poached eggs, spinach and cashew romesco.

All-day offerings spotlight lighter yet satisfying dishes such as Tuna Poke Lettuce Wraps glazed with soy-sesame and topped with avocado and crispy shallots, along with the Route 66 Chicken Club featuring garlic-brined chicken breast, smoky bacon, avocado, tomato jam and a potato bun.
Dinner transitions to a heartier, artisanal menu with premium cuts including Imperial Wagyu Filet, Tomahawk and Prime Bone-In Ribeye steaks, all paired with complementary sides. Desserts finish on a sweet note with the Warm Poppy Seed Cake, served with orange blossom lemon curd and vanilla bean ice cream, a subtle nod to the restaurant’s name.
A beverage program inspired by the Golden State
The beverage program at Poppy’s mirrors its California-driven approach, offering craft cocktails and mocktails such as the Gold Rush and Golden Hour, made with Yellow Chartreuse, Velvet Falernum and pineapple. A curated beer and wine list highlights California sparkling, red, white and rosé wines, alongside rotating selections of regional craft beers.
