Barry’s Scottsdale debuts Fuel Bar, LIFT studio and locker room upgrades
Barry’s Scottsdale, the global fitness phenomenon known for “The Best Workout in the World™,” is leveling up by bringing its strength-focused LIFT modality to the studio. The new 17-spot space is purpose-built for Barry’s signature strength-training format and is set to complement the iconic Red Room experience that has redefined high-intensity group fitness since the brand’s launch in 1998.

A dedicated strength experience with purpose-built design
LIFT is Barry’s dedicated 50-minute strength training class that emphasizes muscle development, proper form and long-term progress. Unlike the brand’s high-intensity RUN x LIFT class, LIFT provides a lower-impact environment focused on time under tension, varied loads and tailored rep schemes. Like the Red Room, each LIFT class hones in on a different muscle group depending on the day, providing structure and consistency to build real, lasting strength.
New Fuel Bar fuels workouts and recovery
Barry’s Scottsdale is now offering more than just a workout. The new expansion also includes a full Fuel Bar, serving up pre- and post-workout shakes designed by nutritionists and made with high-quality, whole-food-based ingredients. The updated menu includes partnerships with clean-label favorites like Promix, Once Upon a Coconut, Califia Farms, La Colombe and Spread the Love, supporting everything from muscle recovery to glowing skin. Clients can pre-order shakes before class so they’re ready to refuel after HIITing the Red Room.

Red Room continues, LIFT opens in Winter 2025
While the exact opening date remains under wraps, the new studio is expected to debut in Winter 2025, further deepening Barry’s commitment to Scottsdale as a hub for innovation, community and fitness.
The original Red Room at Barry’s Scottsdale will continue to operate as usual, offering the brand’s signature RUN x LIFT and double floor classes seven days a week.
