Not your basic brunch
Since its introduction to the Valley in 2015, Hash Kitchen has gained widespread popularity for its over-the-top brunch experiences, including the world’s first build-your-own Bloody Mary Bar. The Maggiore Group, a restaurant powerhouse, has since joined forces with the Savory Fund to expand the brand into neighboring states since their partnership formed in 2021.
“Hash Kitchen is a one-of-a-kind dining experience,” says Andrew K. Smith, co-founder and managing partner at Savory Fund. “Joey, Cristina and Flora have been incredible partners. We’re excited to grow this out-of-the-box brand and bring that Hash Kitchen charm to Texas and communities all over the country.”
Hash Kitchen currently has seven operating locations across Greater Phoenix, including its newest one located at 3919 E Williams Field Road in Gilbert, which opened in July 2023. The exciting national expansion to Texas follows the success of their first out-of-state location in Draper, Utah, which opened its doors in November 2023.
The ongoing Maggiore story
Continuing to be innovators in brunch, each Hash Kitchen location will feature the same offerings including playful cocktails and savory menu items like the Herb Fried Chicken & Waffle and Brunch Birria Bao Buns. Guests can also expect popular elements such as the interactive Bloody Mary bar, disco-ball decor and DJ booths for weekly live entertainment.
“It’s amazing to have a concept and menu that I created become a household name,” says Joey Maggiore, chef and co-founder of The Maggiore Group. “Now everyone will see what Hash Hash Baby is all about.”
Hash comes to Nevada, Utah and Texas
The new Hash Kitchen restaurants are expected to open over the next two years in Nevada, Utah and Texas in the following cities, bringing the concept’s total to 14 locations:
- Fort Worth, Texas (May 2024)
- Pearland, Texas (Mid 2024)
- Webster, Texas (Late 2024)
- Salt Lake City, Utah (Late 2024)
- North Las Vegas, Nevada (Late 2024)
- San Antonio, Texas (Mid 2025)
In addition to the growth of Hash Kitchen, sister-restaurant The Sicilian Butcher is also set to begin its national expansion this year across three cities in Texas.
