Sip, sip, hooray! Wine Girl, the popular wine bar with locations in Scottsdale, Arizona and Napa Valley, recently announced it will be opening its third location in San Diego. Located in the Gaslamp Promenade on Fifth Avenue, the new 2,400-square-foot concept is bringing its iconic aesthetic and unique wine bar experience to “America’s Finest City” by early 2025.

A toast to the Gaslamp Quarter

Since the opening of its Scottsdale location in 2020 followed by Napa Valley in 2023, Wine Girl has successfully reimagined the typical wine bar experience. Aiming to be one of the most open and accessible wine bars around, the wine bar prides itself on guests being comfortable to experience wine in their own way. Following in the footsteps of its sister locations, the San Diego wine bar will feature rotating wines on tap, a reserve bottle/by-the-glass list, locally crafted beers, spritzers, and other libations along with an ever-changing array of food options served up in a delightfully chic, Insta-worthy interior.

Keeping it real with a feminine feel

Staying true to the wine destination’s aesthetic, known for its pops of pastel pinks, light and refreshing ambiance and girl-centric decor, the new location will feature comfy seating, a private banquet room and its signature swings for memorable photo ops. Other popular features include floor-to-ceiling merchandise including home decorations, apparel, and gifts perfect for brides-to-be, girly girls, or any wine enthusiast.

Open seven days a week, the San Diego location will host weekly and monthly events made popular by its two preceding locations including paint and sip nights, hit television viewing parties, live podcast tapings, yoga and mimosas, Wine Girl Bottle Boys nights and more.

Locations and details

Wine Girl will be hiring for over a dozen positions including servers, managers and back-of-house employees. An official announcement for application and interview opportunities will be released later this fall.
