Opening party and preview of what’s to come

Postino Peoria’s launch celebration will include limited-edition restaurant swag, take-home treats and vibey entertainment. On opening day, the first 100 parties receive a Postino-branded trucker hat and a custom cookie from Trujillo’s Treats. Plus, on opening day, guests can get their photo taken at the PARC Photobooth pop-up next to Postino’s patio.

Offering an ever-changing selection of boutique wines, cocktails and craft brews paired with a decked-out menu of bruschetta, panini, salads and a lineup of crave-worthy charcuterie boards and shareables, the Postino team is dreaming up a one-of-a-kind, kicked-back space served up with a sophisticated twist. Postino will join the vibrant, sought-after neighborhood otherwise known as P83, and specifically, will be housed adjacent to the Peoria Sports Complex, spring training home to the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Postino to the incredible Peoria community and to join the vibrant energy of The Park at 83,” says Lauren Bailey, CEO and co-founder of Upward Projects, the restaurant group behind Postino. “This is a milestone moment for us — our first West Valley location — and it feels like a homecoming of sorts, as the Valley has always been the heart and soul of our story. We can’t wait to open our doors, share our love for great wine and food, and create a space where neighbors and friends come together to connect and unwind.”

Honoring local community vibes

Known for creating funky, sophisticated and vintage-inspired spaces, Postino Peoria is designed with the guest experience top-of-mind. Each Postino location is thoughtfully designed to reflect the local community and the building’s history, featuring unique art walls as central design elements. At this location, the art wall comprises 5,500 individual 1970s and 1980s vintage baseball cards in tribute to the Peoria Sports Complex, a feat that required a three-day install.

The interior decor showcases collaborations with local vintage shops Modern ManorSoda PopRed ModernEyeopener and Modern on Melrose — to name a few — and includes photo tributes to the music festivals that existed back in the early 2000s like Edgefest, That Damn Show and Vans Warped Tour.

Postino WineCafé gives back

Additionally, a cornerstone of Postino’s brand is its commitment to giving back to the communities it serves. In Peoria, Postino has partnered with Peoria Diamond Club, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children in their communities reach their full potential by supporting organizations that meet their fundamental needs, and foster success through education, therapeutic, wellness and fine arts programs.

Throughout January, Postino Peoria will donate $1 from each bruschetta board sold to the Peoria Diamond Club, supporting its mission to enrich children’s lives through community programs. Additionally, the Peoria Diamond Club will be on-site at Postino on January 25 beginning at 11 a.m., when guests can get in the baseball spirit with themed activities, yard games and more.

Menu snacks and shareables (we’re addicted to the GF Bruchetta Board!)

Postino’s menu changes seasonally but always includes a bountiful selection of must-have bruschetta, charcuterie boards, from-scratch soups, fresh salads and panini sandwiches. For shareable bites, the menu features “Snacky Things,” which include crispy cauliflower, butter-poached shrimp scampi, sweet potato wedges and more. The 12 delectable bruschetta offerings include brie & apple with fig spread, smoked salmon with pesto, sweet n’ spicy pepper jam with goat cheese and more.

Other guest favorites include the Brussels Sprouts Salad with kale, brussels sprouts, manchego, spicy Marcona almonds, bacon and lemon manchego dressing, topped with dried cherries; the Nine Iron Panini with sugar-crusted smoked bacon, grilled chicken, fresh stracciatella, mixed greens, tomato and Dijonnaise and The Greek Hummus Boarda bountiful plate of hummus topped with chopped cucumber, pickled onion, crushed tomato, crumbled feta, fresh herbs and olive oil drizzle served with grilled ciabatta and pita.

Exciting additions to the Peoria Postino wine program

Postino will launch the Peoria location with its expanded bar program, which now features for the first time an exciting lineup of classic cocktails, including a Prickly Pear Mezcal Margarita, Smoked Old Fashioned and Espresso Martini, along with Wine Cult, the first-ever subscription-based wine club created by the Postino team that launches new curated boxes of wine every quarter.
