Celebrating ten years since opening its first location in Phoenix, the Arizona-born healthy, fast-casual restaurant Flower Child announced today that it will be the inaugural tenant at the highly anticipated PV development in Phoenix when its doors open on Tuesday, Sept. 24.

New coveted location

One of the many beloved brands under the Fox Restaurant Concepts umbrella, Flower Child is known as a place where you can come and fill your soul (and belly) with goodness. Flower Child’s menu caters to all lifestyles — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and anything goes.

“We are excited to open our next Flower Child in the Valley as part of the redevelopment of the iconic former Paradise Valley Mall. This neighborhood has been underserved for quite some time and we’re proud to be a part of bringing life back to the area while growing the brand’s footprint here at home,” said Sam Fox, founder of Fox Restaurant Concepts.

Healthy and customizable

Flower Child’s customizable menu features fan-favorite dishes coupled with feel-good indulgences like the Mother Earth Bowl with ancient grains, sweet potato, portobello mushroom, avocado, cucumber, broccoli pesto, charred onion, leafy greens, red pepper miso vinaigrette, and hemp seed; the infamous oh-so-creamy, Gluten-Free Mac & Cheese with aged white cheddar and parmesan; the Chicken Enchiladas with guajillo chile, smoked gouda, poblano cream, organic black bean, roasted corn, and avocado; the Flying Avocado Wrap with smoked turkey, gouda, romaine, tomato, and avocado hummus; and the Brussels Sprouts & Organic Kale Salad with red grape, organic apple, pink grapefruit, white cheddar, smoked almond, and apple cider vinaigrette.

PV opening details

Flower Child, the brand’s 34th location nationwide, will be the first tenant to open at PV, the much-anticipated redevelopment of the former Paradise Valley Mall by RED Development. Additional tenants, including fellow Fox Restaurant Blanco Cocina + Cantina, are expected to open by the end of the year.

Flower Child will hold an in-person job fair as the restaurant is hiring for numerous positions. The restaurant is looking for local employees who bring a confident, go-getting attitude, and that are willing to spread the brand’s soul-satisfying mission of serving positively delicious vibes to the Paradise Valley community. Those that are interested can stop by and apply in person from Sept. 3-14, from 10 a.m.– 6 p.m., except for Sunday, Sept. 8.
