Aftermath

Aftermath, the modern American hotspot in the heart of Phoenix takes New Year celebrants on a spectacular culinary journey with a specialty three-course menu brought to guests by Culinary Director Austin Finley. The first course includes an Artisan Lettuce, Fennel, Hazelnut Crumble with Honeycrisp apple and a tangy white balsamic vinaigrette. The second course offers a choice between Halibut à la Plancha, a seared halibut served with a silky yuzu buttermilk, jasmine rice congee and a touch of coconut, or Arizona Filet a tender Arizona filet, whipped sweet potatoes, creamed winter greens and a rich red wine jus. The third course features a Key Lime Bar, melding a praline graham cracker crust, crystal ginger cream and candied lime.

CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa

This New Year’s Eve, guests can learn how to mindfully manage stress, boost calm with breath, reframe their relationship with exercise, cultivate deeper connections and focus on positivity to enter 2025 happier and healthier. Among its offerings, visitors can take advantage of CIVANA’s 2025 Dance + Transform — no prior dance experience is necessary, just an open mind and the intention to shake off anything you do not wish to take with you into the New Year. This class will take place from 11 – 11:50 p.m. on December 31. Also available — the 2025 Meditation + Sound Collaboration where guests are guided into the new year in community, with a breathwork and sound healing journey with Wellness Guide Marney Henze. This class will take place from 11-11:50 p.m. on December 31.

Nourishing culinary offerings include specials at Terras, CIVANA’s signature restaurant which spotlights seasonal, local ingredients and bright flavors. The exclusive New Year’s menu will feature exceptional a la carte entree specials including wild mushroom risotto and grass-fed bison medallions, as well as champagne grape panna cotta for dessert. Additionally, guests who book stays to celebrate New Year’s will enjoy a $150 resort credit with their stay this New Year’s Eve from December 26 through January 6. This deal will be bookable December 9 – 31 for a two-night minimum.

Hearth ’61, Mountain Shadows

Hearth ‘61 is kicking off the New Year with a special New Year’s Eve four-course menu from Chef Charles Wiley. Plus, partygoers will enjoy live music from a DJ in the lounge. Amuse-bouche of Scallops & Caviar will be followed by Kabocha Squash Bisque, Poached Pear Salad, Steak & Lobster and Valrhona Chocolate & Valrhona Chocolate Torte with raspberry gelato.

  • The first seating is at 6:30 p.m. and is $175 /person.

Kick off the new year with a relaxing yoga class at Mountain Shadows on Wednesday, January 1 at 9 a.m. Instructor Cortney Halstead will guide guests through a slowed-down, all-levels vinyasa flow.

Kona Grill

Before heading to an NYE all-nighter, partygoers can maximize their celebratory mood with Spicy Yellowtail Sushi Tacos for $27, featuring siracha, cucumber and green onion; a main course of mouthwatering 10 oz Prime Rib for $43 served with au jus and horseradish cream whipped potatoes; Juicy grilled garlic shrimp skewers for just $6; or Parmesan Crusted Sole, paired with green asparagus, bay scallops, mussels, shrimp with a caper lemon sauce for $47. To close out the meal, the NYE menu includes a Warm Chocolate Molten Lava Cake drizzled in chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream for $15.

Marino’s Italian Kitchen & Bar

Marino’s Italian Kitchen & Bar will offer a special New Year’s Eve four-course prix fixe tasting menu. All prix fixe menu purchases will include a complimentary glass of prosecco. Guests who purchase a prix fixe menu between 8-11 p.m. will be entered into a raffle for a personal tasting menu experience curated by Marino’s executive chef and head mixologist (a total of four people). Marino’s kids’ menu will be available for the evening and all purchases include a complimentary glass of Martinelli’s Cider. A special New Year’s Eve a la carte menu will be available at the bar only on a first come first served basis.

Mii amo 

Celebrate the arrival of the New Year with Mii amo’s “Manifest Your New Year’s Wishes” experience. On December 31 and January 1, the serene Crystal Grotto invites guests to set their intentions for the year ahead between 12:00 and 1:30 p.m. Aspirations are written on delicate rice paper, which the Mii amo team will ceremoniously ignite to symbolize transformation and new beginnings. This experience is open to guests, creating a reflective and inspiring moment to embrace the year ahead.

On December 31, Sanctuary is showcasing a specially curated prix-fixe menu at elements, featuring elevated dishes crafted by Chef de Cuisine Jesus Figueroa. Continue the festivities at the New Year’s Eve Jade Bar Celebration with an evening of craft cocktails and live music. The jade bar will be offering a Celebration Package that includes Dom Pérignon Champagne bottle service and fried chicken & caviar bucket or the Celebration Premium Package with Armand De Brignac ‘Ace of Spades’ Brut Gold Champagne bottle service and a seafood platter.

Sandfish Sushi & Whiskey

At Sandfish, Owner and Chef Engin Onural is showcasing a special menu on New Year’s Eve celebrating both tradition and innovation, perfect for those seeking an extraordinary dining experience to ring in 2024, 4:30 – 10 p.m. Exclusive features include: 

  • Appetizers: Chutoro Tataki, a seared Chutoro served with Asian pear slaw, pickled shallots and crispy nori, with raspberry and red Fresno vinaigrette; Oyster Tasting, featuring three Pacific West Oysters with mignonette, pickled with sake ginger brine and confit in wagyu tallow at low temp; and Nigiri Decadence, A5 wagyu with black truffle, King crab salad gunka, Uni and caviar.

T. Cook’s Royal Palms Resort and Spa

On New Year’s Eve from 5 – 10 p.m., Royal Palms Resort and Spa invites friends and family to ring in the new year during a celebratory dining experience at T. Cook’s, specially curated by Executive Chef Lee Hillson. Tell Your Friends

North Scottsdale underground cocktail and live music lounge, Tell Your Friends is reviving the spirit of the Roaring Twenties this New Year’s Eve with its exclusive “Flappers, Fizz & Friends” celebration to welcome 2025 in style. Gatsby-inspired grandeur awaits with an opulent evening of live music, lavish bites and libations offering three distinct experiences from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The Americano

The upscale Italian-inspired steakhouse helmed by celebrity chef Beau MacMillan will showcase its finest flavors, featuring one-night-only prix-fixe dinners. The special menus curated by Chefs Beau MacMillan and Peter McQuaid include Char Grilled Octopus, Lamb Ossobucco, Atlantic Cod and Braised Wagyu Beef Cheeks. The New Year’s Eve event takes place from 4 – 10 p.m.

The Montauk

The Montauk may be nestled in Old Town Scottsdale, but this New Year’s Eve, guests will be transported to the Big Apple! In an ode to the restaurant’s name and coastal inspiration, The Montauk is saying goodbye to 2024 New York-style, by celebrating the Times Square Ball Drop at 10 p.m.! While dining, guests can expect live entertainment by local DJs and grab a glass of champagne. Larger parties can indulge in a festive espresso-martini tree complete with 12 cocktails.

The first day of 2025, The Montauk will serve brunch, including their Weekender Sandwich and Huevos Rancheros among other breakfast classics and brunch cocktails including their Arcadia Greyhound and Sparkplug cold brew coffee-infused cocktail.

This year, the Maggiore family is doing something special to celebrate New Year’s Eve. On Dec. 31, Arizonans can ring in the New Year with a lineup featuring dinner, dancing to live music by local musicians, two toasts to commemorate the New Year (an East and West Coast toast), and complimentary prosecco and panettone.

The Italiano

Hungry guests can ring in the new year at Chef Joey Maggiore’s newest concept, The Italiano, welcoming diners to end 2024 the Italian way. This ultimate dining experience includes a curated selection of appetizers, signature seafood towers, a champagne and shellfish cart and Italian-inspired soups, salads, pastas, entrees and more. The Italiano will be open until midnight On New Year’s Eve.

Tía Carmen at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa 

Led by celebrity chef and “Top Chef” alum Angelo Sosa, Tía Carmen will ring in the new year with a special New Year’s Eve dinner celebration. Guests can toast to the new year and bid farewell to 2024 with Chef Angelo’s exclusive tasting menu. The line-up includes a six-course culinary experience featuring unique, off-menu creations, with the option to add a thoughtfully curated wine pairing. A vegetarian-tasting menu is also available.

Weatherford Hotel (Great Pinecone Drop)

The Great Pinecone Drop at The Weatherford Hotel in Flagstaff was named the No. 5 New Year’s Eve drop in the nation in the USA Today 10 Best Reader’s Choice Awards. The elaborately decorated pinecone will descend from the Weatherford’s roof at noon and 10 p.m. on Dec. 31 for those revelers with early-morning plans on the first of the year, and again at midnight for traditionalists who brave the chilly night air to record the passing of another year. Guests of the event can also enjoy crafts, photos, noisemakers and other family-friendly programming.
