Downtown Phoenix Urban Wine Walk returns April 5

More than 20 Downtown Phoenix participating bars and restaurants
Hosted by Downtown Phoenix Inc. (DPI), a 501c (3) nonprofit community-building organization, Urban Wine Walk is a self-guided tasting tour that offers participants the opportunity to explore downtown, which boasts over 200 bars and restaurants in a 1.75-square-mile walkable neighborhood. Attendees can sip, savor and explore food and drink options from more than 20 participating bars and restaurants in Downtown Phoenix. Each stop offers three different wine and food pairings for $5 each, paired with a complimentary snack (while supplies last).
No registration is necessary; the walk can be done in any order. Maps are provided at kickoff and at each Wine Walk location.
“Saluti” — Cheers to the Italian Coast
This year, participating locations are encouraged to add a specialty spritz to their Wine Walk menu to truly embrace the Italian beach theme. A few of the businesses involved in the event include Pa’La Downtown, Coabana and BARCOA Agaveria.

“Urban Wine Walk offers attendees the chance to explore a variety of restaurants — many for the first time — while immersing themselves in Downtown’s walkable streets, vibrant art scene and energetic atmosphere,” says Jessika Baker, community engagement director of DPI. “The event also benefits the
local economy, as nearly 80% of businesses in Downtown Phoenix are locally owned and operated.”
