Bender Performing Arts family fall festival
The popular Phoenix dance studio is doing more than sashaying its way through fall. On Oct. 19, all are welcome to enjoy games, crafts, food vendors, a giant slide, an inflatable obstacle course, a cake walk, trunk-or-treating and more at this free event.

Butterfly Wonderland’s Bugfest
This year’s fun, free and educational Bugfest community event celebrates bugs and Halloween — attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite insect. Visitors can participate in cockroach races, a Bug Zoo Station featuring an array of fascinating bugs, children’s craft activities, photo ops while holding a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach at the “Hissing Booth” and edible insect tastings!

Pumpkin Patch
You simply can’t have a roundup of fall events in Phoenix without a pumpkin patch, and Desert Ridge Marketplace is the place for picking. The 6th annual Pumpkin Patch is filled to the brim with the season’s favorite gourds (while supplies last).
