Rancho de los Caballeros, a historic, family-owned dude ranch in Wickenburg, Arizona, is thrilled to introduce two new members to the family — a mother miniature horse named Princess Sparkles and her sweet baby boy, who’s almost 1 year old! Tucked within the Sonoran Desert, these two will enjoy the ranch’s more than 20,000 acres and will meet guests from near and far as they tap into their inner cowboy and cowgirl at one of the country’s favorite dude ranches.

Horse with no name? You can help!
Before mom and baby can ride off into the sunset, Princess Sparkle’s baby boy needs your help! Head on over to the ranch’s Instagram account (@ranchodeloscaballeros) to do your part and name this adorable bundle of joy.
The naming contest is now live until the end of the month. Creative name submissions are encouraged and the winner receives a stuffed horse resembling the baby miniature horse and a framed photo of Princess Sparkles to commemorate their help in making this new family feel welcome in Arizona.

All the contest details are below. Please note: Names will only be accepted through Instagram and will not be accepted anywhere else. Contest entry is limited to one submission per person. Rancho de los Caballeros staff will choose the most creative, befitting name for its new occupant, and the winner announcement will be in early October.
Contest Details:
- Contest Duration: September 4th through September 30th.
- How to Enter: comment your baby horse name suggestion on Instagram.
- Prize: a stuffed horse resembling the baby miniature horse and a framed photo of Princess Sparkles.
- Winner Announcement: early October.
