Wander Speakeasy is getting spooky in the best way possible this Halloween with its popular murder mystery dinner series. Amateur sleuths won’t be able to resist the upcoming “Never Say Murder Again,” James Bond-themed interactive performance presented by Murder Ink Productions hosted at Wander Speakeasy in North Phoenix at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30.

“I’m really excited to bring ‘Never Say Murder Again’ to Wander Speakeasy,” says Austin Cahill, general manager of Wander Speakeasy. “We’ve had such a great turnout for our previous murder mystery dinners, and we expect this one will be just as fun!”
Solve the murder and get a killer prize
The dinner-and-a-show format of “Never Say Murder Again,” includes performances by members of Murder Ink Productions. There are also about a dozen audience participation roles that are a fun and important part of the script. These roles are provided to willing participant dinner guests who then become a part of the story. Are you a witness? Or maybe even a suspect? All is revealed at the end of the show. All audience participation roles are completely written, provided to the willing guest and performed from the guest’s seat.
All guests at “Never Say Murder Again” are highly encouraged to dress up as their favorite character from a James Bond film. Dressing up will surely get all the adults into the Halloween spirit and are sure to spark some thrilling conversations.
“We wanted to make sure our Wander guests had a Halloween event that was just a little different, and with an added touch of class,” Cahill says. “Of course, we’re looking forward to seeing the James Bond-related costumes our guests will be wearing at the dinner!”
A murder mystery dinner menu to die for (and with an English twist)
Each murder mystery dinner at Wander Speakeasy features a three-course meal that is themed according to specific performances. The October 30 James Bond-themed murder mystery dinner includes a housemade bread basket with butter and a three-course dinner, expertly prepared by Wander Speakeasy’s Executive Chef Charlie Kenyon.
Course one is a creative salad with English butter greens, Leicester cheddar, rainbow radish, English peas, croutons, spiced pepitas and a soft-boiled egg, complimented by a creamy dill vinaigrette. The entree is a delectable beef short rib with maple whiskey lardon, baby portobello mushrooms, roasted garlic potato mash and glazed carrot. Dessert is a sticky toffee pudding, frozen vanilla custard and hazelnut praline, kissed with warm butterscotch. This dinner is one that would make any world-traversing spy take his time to enjoy.
“Doing these murder mystery dinners in our elegant speakeasy gives us a chance to showcase our elevated cuisine that has been expertly orchestrated by Wander’s executive chef, Charlie Kenyon,” Cahill explains.

The bone-chilling backstory of “Never Say Murder Again“
As the eve of the Secret World Order of Rich Megalomaniacs (S.W.O.R.M.) annual summit approaches, the world’s most nefarious and power-hungry individuals convene for a pivotal dinner to shape the planet’s future.
Tasked with this perilous mission is Her Majesty’s Secret Service Agent 770, Lance Vaughn, who must embark on a quest to save the world. Participants will engage in an immersive dining experience while uncovering clues individually or in teams, with the goal of figuring out the perpetrator(s) behind the crimes.
Guests will review all the evidence at the end of the dinner event. If you solve the crime, you could win a prize!
