For the first time ever, the resort will unveil a captivating winter display complete with an enchanting ice skating rink, cozy fire tables, a magical snow play area, a thrilling virtual ski experience, a whimsical gondola photo station, an après ski pop-up bar, delectable holiday dining and other festive surprises.

‘Tis the season to be jolly at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. This year, the resort will debut a whole new world of holiday magic where guests and locals can deck the halls with a collection of holiday happenings, including:
● Ice Skating: Guests can skate under the desert sky for the first time at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. Ice skating starts at $20/person per hour. Sponsored by PepsiCo Foodservice.
● Fire Tables: Cozy up by a private fire table for s’mores and festive treats. Fireside lounging can accommodate 6-10 guests and pricing starts at $219. Pricing includes charcuterie or s’mores, and a curated menu of festive snacks and drinks will also be available for purchase. Reservations are highly recommended.
● Snow Play on the Family Escape Lawn: Who says it can’t snow in Phoenix? Enjoy a winter flurry right in the heart of the desert with real snow for guests of all ages to play in. Snowball-making supplies will be available for purchase.
● Arizona Snowbowl Virtual Ski: Enjoy the thrill of skiing or snowboarding with a virtual simulator. Sessions start at $20.
● Gondola Photos: Hop in the Arizona Snowbowl gondola for an Instagram-worthy photo setting, complimentary for all guests.
● Après Ski Pop-Up Bar: Adults can indulge in holiday-themed cocktails like the Starry® Elf Elixir or illy® Melting Snow in addition to cocktails and mocktails featuring Shamrock Farms specialty eggnogs while kids sip on hot cocoa and enjoy other festive treats.

Upon arrival, guests and locals will be dazzled with a twinkling light display before entering the grand lobby filled with holiday décor. JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa will spread holiday cheer with festive programming available throughout the resort.
● Photos with Santa: Capture a wonderful family memory of photos with Santa in his larger than life sleigh digitally delivered (starting at $50) or write a letter to the North Pole.
● Gingerbread Village: A walk-through display of Santa’s sleigh and his reindeer village.
● Programming for guests and locals: Elf tuck-ins, peppermint body scrub and candle making in the JW Garden, ornament making, cookie and cupcake decorating, tie-dye making stations, and seasonal arts and crafts. Kids will also receive a special jingle bell gift at check-in for those staying overnight.
● In-room décor packages: Travelers can make spirits bright and reserve one of the in-room decor packages for Christmas or Hanukkah, which will include a curated selection of festive ornaments, timeless decorations and sweet treats.
