Adventure Concierge offers unique experiences

Travelers can explore the hidden treasures of Page, with the assistance of the dedicated Adventure Concierge team, providing guests with personalized itineraries tailored to individual preferences to guarantee maximum exploration during their stay. Whether seeking the tranquility of a secluded waterfall or the thrill of off-road excursions, visitors to Page can discover everything from scenic viewpoints to cultural landmarks guided by local expertise and insider knowledge.

Situated only 10 minutes from the Navajo Nation and the famed slot canyons like Antelope Canyon that exist within it, Hyatt Place Page/Lake Powell is also partnering with local Navajo experts and artisans to present new complimentary weekly events. The intimate cultural experiences include Navajo Storytelling with traditional sounds and drumming led by Eli Secody, an esteemed Navajo community leader, and a Dreamcatcher Workshop led by local weaver Pearl Seaton. To complete the summer spirit, Sunset Sessions will feature live music to enjoy beneath the majestic desert sky.

Dreamcatcher Workshop with Pearl Seaton

On Wednesdays, discover the art of traditional Navajo dreamcatcher weaving with local weaver Pearl Seaton. Uncover purpose and significance of dreamcatchers during this one-hour intimate workshop. Throughout the class, learn the purpose and meaning of dreamcatchers and hear firsthand stories from Seaton’s childhood and memories of her grandparents teaching her to make the Indigenous symbol. Limited to 15 participants, signups are available upon check-in with the hotel’s front desk team. Participants are recommended to be at least 10 years old.

Navajo Storytelling and Songs with Eli Secody

On Thursdays, Eli Secody, who has spent a lifetime immersed in the rich heritage of the Navajo Nation, shares captivating tales steeped in the traditions of his native culture. Having grown up listening to stories and folklore passed down by tribe elders through the ages, Secody’s storytelling is deeply rooted in the oral tradition of Indigenous people. Through storytelling intertwined with Navajo songs and drumming, gain insight into the harmony between the Navajo people, wildlife, and the land. Secody offers a profound and authentic glimpse into Navajo culture, leaving visitors enlightened and inspired to continue their journey with newfound appreciation and understanding.

Sunset Sessions

On Fridays, experience live music from the property’s open-air patio. Indulge in specialty cocktails and delicious bites from the hotel’s onsite signature restaurant, Prickly Pear Kitchen, while soaking in the breathtaking summer sunsets.
