Mixing healthy ingredients with cozy dining-in and to-go options
Flower Child offers an incredible array of options on their menu, from sugar-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan meals. Focusing on conscious ingredients with vibrant flavors, Flower Child offerings are high in protein, anti-inflammatory and gut-friendly (among other healthy attributes).
During our visit, we were all too happy to indulge in their customizable bowls, wraps and salads. We also appreciate that this healthy eatery takes the heavy lifting out of meals, using fresh ingredients from close to home. Flower Child makes meals healthy, flavorful and fun, serving up inspiration to mix up mundane meal preps. Some of our favorites for dining in or taking home are the Mediterranean Chicken Kabob with summer squash, portobello mushroom, bell pepper, harissa, quinoa rice, yogurt sauce and Greek salad. We were also smitten with the Crushed Avocado Toast.
For a sweet and healthy spin, we recommend the Lemon Olive Oil Cake (your tastebuds will thank you).
Additional health-focused menu highlights
Another fan favorite of Flower Child is the restaurant’s satiable bowls. Not only are these popular menu items mouthwatering, but they’re also functional, promoting digestion and balancing hormones and blood sugar. For those looking to boost beauty habits, try the Glow Bowl packed with vitamins A and E, featuring yummy sweet potato noodles, detoxifying cilantro, mint and sunflower seeds. One of the things that sets this franchise apart is the pride taken in offering options that aid digestion, reduce inflammation, support brain function and encourage glowing skin — and the Tempe location is no exception.
