Midcentury magic

Inspired by the mid-century modern charm of Melrose, Royale Kitchen + Cocktails blends retro glamour with contemporary flair. The space takes cues from Phoenix’s mid-century architecture, Miami Beach lounges and the glitz of 1960s and ‘70s Vegas, creating a setting that’s both stylish and effortlessly inviting. Whether you’re stopping in for casual cocktails or celebrating a special occasion, Royale offers an ambiance that feels elevated yet approachable.

VIP event shines a spotlight on bold flavors

The event showcased Royale’s updated menu, which stays true to its roots while offering fresh, elevated flavors. Guests enjoyed an array of small bites, including crispy mac and cheese balls with house-made cheese sauce; Thai shrimp tossed in a sweet chili glaze, and perfectly spiced sweet potato tots.

The Peachy Keen Chicken Sandwich stole the show — featuring grilled peach slices, Swiss cheese, bacon, arugula and hot honey atop a juicy grilled or crispy chicken breast, delivering the perfect balance of sweet, savory and heat.

The YUM Burger held its own, topped with YUMBAR sauce and a sun-dried tomato bacon relish on a soft, subtly sweet bun. To finish, Royale keeps it local with Choopy’s Bakeshop desserts, including a Raspberry Lemon Ricotta Cake and Double Chocolate Ricotta Cake — a perfectly indulgent finale.
