There was much to glean from this year’s Arizona Fashion Week (AFW), and its debut night was no exception. Night one kicked off the event with the transformation of the Jetset Magazine Hangar into a sleek runway, showcasing cutting-edge design and the fusion of art and fashion. Here’s what we learned about 2025 fashion trends and the massive talent showcased at AFW 2024.

Make sure your seat belt is securely fastened and ready for these fast-moving fashion trends

The evening took off with Mister Triple X, a high-end streetwear brand for the inner rockstar in all of us. With edgy metallics, striking textures, and bold details, designer Erik Rosete’s collection exudes confidence and rebellion. 

Designer Blase Raschke brought a fresh perspective to formalwear, redefining it with timeless, figure-accentuating pieces inspired by mythology. The collection features bold silhouettes, rich textures, and elegant detailing, seamlessly blending classic influences with modern sophistication.

Transitioning from formal to casual, Iron Rose brought cool, laid-back vibes with bold mesh designs and relaxed silhouettes for an effortless streetwear look. 

Adding a splash of vibrant luxury, Naava Swim took center stage, showcasing high-end swimwear that has already graced the pages of Sports Illustrated and British Vogue.

Secure all tray tables and carryons: Knitwear and abstract design is taking off

After a brief layover, DC Knits continued to warm things up with hand-loomed knitwear. Designer Dean Cheek presented ultra-soft pieces made from cashmere and alpaca, proving comfort and style can go hand in hand.

Following Cheek’s knitwear was the Good Road Collection, a perfect fusion of fashion and art. Designer Uzoma Ndulue’s vibrant creations, inspired by bold abstract paintings, transformed the runway into a striking canvas of self-expression.

Finally, the night closed with Kenneth Barlis, a global force in couture who has dressed icons like Julia Roberts, Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood and Halsey. His collection captured the essence of spring with vibrant colors, intricate details and innovative designs. From bold prints to reimagined textures, the pieces radiated a sense of renewal and artistry, closing the evening with a breathtaking celebration of creativity.
