Queen Creek Olive Mill rolls out National Olive Oil Month festivities

As August unfolds—National Olive Oil Month— the Queen Creek Olive Mill is diving into a month full of fun festivities. Below is a look at all the exciting ways guests of the Mill can celebrate the final stretch of summer with everything olive oil.

Labor Day Weekend 

The Mill is hosting a Labor Day Weekend Sangria Social Saturday, August 31 from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., complete with four seasonal-inspired house made sangrias. Grab a glass of house-made sangria to enjoy at a table inside, outside on the shaded patio, or in the olive grove! On Labor Day (Monday, September 2), the Queen Creek Olive Mill will be hosting a “Grill at the Mill” event from 11a.m. – 5 pm. The celebration will include grill-inspired menus, games in the grove and more! Free admission. No RSVP required.

Chill at the Mill (daily summer specials):

  • Early Bird Breakfast — 15% off breakfast – excludes drinks (8am – 9 am)
  • $2 off single scoops of gelato (2 pm-close)
  • 2 pizzas + 2 pints — $39 (2 p.m.-close)
  • 2 pastas + 2 vinos — $39 (2 p.m.-close)
  • Board & Bottle — Antipasti board OR Bruschetta board & + a bottle of wine — $25 (select bottles only)
  • Summer Sippin’ — $3 off beer & wine by the glass, $6 off carafes/pitchers (2 p.m.-close)

Live Music Schedule 

Mill goers can enjoy live music all month with an exciting lineup of local music performances as part of their ongoing “Music in the Grove” series. Local musicians from around the Valley gearing up to showcase their talent amongst the beautiful olive groves include Charles Palmer, Janelle Loes, Ivan Harshman and many more talented artists. Olive Oil 101 Tour

Last but not least, the best way to celebrate National Olive Oil Month at the Mill is with the “Olive Oil 101 Tour!” During the Olive Oil 101 Tour, guests learn how the Mill makes their extra virgin olive oil, how to use it in your kitchen and all the reasons why olive oil is so good for you. The Mill’s experts will also teach you how to correctly taste olive oil (not with bread) and help you shop for the right olive oils for your home in their gourmet marketplace following the tour.
