Ling & Louie’s launches new menu with exclusive preview

Ling & Louie’s, known for its inventive Asian cuisine, is thrilled to unveil its new menu on September 16, 2024, offering an exclusive preview to loyalty members and email subscribers. The full menu will be available to the public starting September 23, 2024. This update underscores Ling & Louie’s commitment to delivering fresh, exciting flavors while staying true to its distinctive style.

New menu preview

The revamped menu features a tantalizing array of new dishes. Diners can indulge in Louie’s Bao Buns, available with three delectable options: Char Siu Pork with cucumber salad and cilantro, Spicy Korean Chicken with crispy chicken, Asian slaw, pickles, and spicy aioli, or Loaded Steak with sliced NY strip, red onion, bleu cheese, candied bacon, lettuce, and tomato.

Additional highlights include the Seared Ahi Salad, featuring fresh greens, red bell pepper, jicama, cucumber, cilantro with a miso-ginger dressing, and Louie’s Cobb Salad with diced chicken, candied bacon, cucumber, tomato, corn, cheddar-jack cheese, a 6-minute egg, featuring a wasabi-ranch dressing.

“At Ling & Louie’s, we’re constantly seeking to surprise and delight our guests with bold new flavors,” says John Banquil, owner of Ling & Louie’s. “Our latest menu introduces innovative dishes that perfectly complement our beloved classics. We’re especially excited about Louie’s Bao Buns, which we’re confident will quickly become a guest favorite.”

Mains sure to achieve fame

New offerings extend to the main courses with the Almond-Crusted Pork, paired with roasted Brussels sprouts, wasabi mashed potatoes and spicy plum sauce. The Miso Sea Bass is served sizzling with spicy stir-fried vegetables and a miso-sake glaze. For sides, enjoy Loaded Mashed Potatoes with candied bacon, cheddar-jack cheese and wasabi sour cream; Wok-Charred Street Corn with gochujang aioli, cotija cheese and popcorn; Korean Cauliflower with a sesame-soy glaze and gochujang aioli; and Wokin’ Hot Brussels Sprouts with bacon, spicy chili-soy sauce,and peanuts.

Spirited spirits

The new drink menu is equally exciting, featuring inventive cocktails such as the Seoul Paloma, which combines Espolon Reposado Tequila or El Silencio Mezcal with Korean chili syrup and fresh citrus, and the Shanghai Sunset, blending Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Redemption Rye Whiskey, almond syrup, fresh citrus, pineapple and Angostura Bitters.

Non-alcoholic options include the Not So Dirty Shirley with Ritual Zero-Proof Gin, cherry syrup, ginger, lime and Fever Tree Sparkling Lime & Yuzu, and the Passion Fruit No-Jito with Ritual Zero-Proof Rum, passion fruit puree, fresh mint and lime.

In addition to the menu launch, Ling & Louie’s is committed to giving back to the community with its Big-Hearted Brunch from September 1 to September 30, 2024. A portion of the brunch sales will support the nonprofit organization Live & Learn.
